Our Artificial Turf Installation Process

During your first appointment, we’ll walk you through our artificial turf installation process by assessing your needs and recommending the best product. You’ll be able to view turf samples and choose the style and color you prefer. Once a product is selected, we’ll create a custom design and review any complementary service items and options.

We’ll walk you through the entire process so you know exactly what to expect. If you choose us as your installer, we’ll collect a deposit. Materials will be ordered. We’ll schedule an installation date, with materials being delivered the day before. Upon completion, we’ll do a final walk-thru to ensure you’re nothing less than ecstatic!

Our Construction Process

Pre-Installation

Remove existing materials whether it is soil, weeds, or any substance above ground. Cap valves and remove water sources in the project area.

Base Preparation

Bring our base material (quarter minus gravel) into the project area, and grate it for proper drainage.

Compacting Base

Compact the base and grate it again to make sure it’s level and smooth. Then we compact it again to create a nice hard base. This ensures there are no issues when it rains like sink holes or soft spots.

Custom Fitting Turf

Identify the best way to install your turf to minimize the appearance of seams. Then cut it to fit the project area.

Securing Seams

We nail down the seams at every inch which will prevent your turf from splitting in the future. It also makes your seams really seamless!

Applying Filler

We apply an infill which is made from silica sand or Envirofill (depending on the projects). Infill helps stand the blades up nice and tall and allows for higher traffic/less matting, ensuring longevity. Prevents rippling in the summer when the turft gets hot.

Final Groom

We use a powerbroom to fluff up the turf and allows the infill to settle into your new artificial grass system.
